Candidates

The Concerned Citizens for Better Government Political Committee has published its primary goals, which are:

• No New Taxes
• Higher Impact Fees
• Controlled Growth
• Qualified Candidates for Public Office

It is our opinion that the incumbents on the Board of County Commissioners, the Superintendent of Schools, and the School Board are not controlling growth adequately, have not imposed higher impact fees, are increasing taxes, and therefore should be replaced! At present, our roads are overcrowded, the jail is overcrowded, our schools are overcrowded, the courthouse is overcrowded, and there are temporary classrooms on every school campus in the County. Although the election of Lane Lynchard to the Board of County Commissioners was a great first step towards improving County Government, we still have a long way to go!
